Session 1 Assmt: Hot Mommas Project Case Writing
January 15, 2009In this exercise, students write their own case to serve as role models to other young women – as well as promote class peer mentor relationships. As a follow-on to this exercise, women will share specific challenges with the class. The class will act as a “personal board” or group of peer mentors to provide feedback to the presenters. (This presenter issue and class feedback is confidential and will not be open to the general public).

Who takes the class? Business and non business majors, undergraduate and graduate, from the George Washington University as well as other universities in our learning consortium. Why: GW’s WEL class is the recipient of a National Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education award which led to a ranking of the GWSB entrepreneurship program in Fortune Small Business.
Who: The class will be taught by Kathy Korman Frey, adjunct professor, a co-developer of the WEL class, and founder of the Hot Mommas Project research initiative.
